Crane Moor Training offers high quality, flexible learning and development programmes to
increase the confidence and skill levels of individuals and which benefit the childcare setting,
children, their families and ultimately, the community.
In 2003 the Government published a green paper – Every Child Matters – prompting a debate
about services for children, young people and families.
Five outcomes were identified as being most important to children:
4.
Make a positive contribution
5.
Achieve economic well-being
The Government recognises that people working with children play a crucial role in meeting these outcomes.
Crane Moor Training offers individuals working with children (either employed or as volunteers) the opportunity to gain a recognised
qualification which supports the initiative of developing a more valued, skilled and flexible workforce, striving to provide the very best care for
children.
People working with children should be valued, trained and rewarded
Carers of children in any setting are of vital importance in improving outcomes for children and young people

Individuals achieve beyond their expectations when there are security and mutual respect, and expectations are high.
Caring relationships are fundamental to the development and fulfilment of ourselves and others and also to the good of the community
